Topic for discussion at the AGM:
Leanne has the opportunity to get a Costco card through her work. This could be useful for the tuck-shop. Would the club be willing to pay the £25 annual membership?

AGM 2016
Roger thanked for his organisation of club funds over the past year.
Trev appointed as liaison officer with the British Legion
2015 Award ceremony abandoned through lack of nominations though it was confirmed that Adam had won the beardiest beard of 2015 for mass and volume and James Otero was confirmed in his position of Club President for life who never comes to the club .
There was a short discussion regarding changing the club name however this was parked whilst issues such as facebook page membership impact etc is researched. (There is apparently another club that uses Warlord in their title).
The thorny subject of club diversity was raised by Peter Coles. It was agreed that we should have some. It was highlighted that already we have bearded and non bearded, Ginger, Scottish and Jewish representation and that members had been seen talking with a female the previous week.
Club funds: following last years successful terrain foray at Salute it was agreed that Rodge would spearhead the haggling. Adam & Ross appointed to lead futuristic and historic terrain sub committees to ensure Rodge knows exactly what people want.
Members reminded that the annual subscription (£10) was removed in favour of a voluntary donation to club funds for club terrain.
www.tinywargames.co.uk flagged for hardwearing printed rubber gaming mats
Planned activities for 2016:
Bolt Action mega game: Ardennes 1944
30K Campaign
Soldier King interclub campaign - Dougie running an interclub C17 / C18 campaign between us, Too Fat Lardies, and Edinburgh and Glasgow clubs.
Sicily 1943 - Bolt Action ladder campaign. Americans race the Brits to Messina against stalwart German and Italian defence
St Albans 1455 = Lion Rampant - Wars of the Roses skirmish battles - one box of Perry Miniatures bow and billmen (£18) plus 2 armoured foot knights is all you need.
Star Wars - Battle of Endor
Richard Clarke of Too Fat Lardies has offered to put on a demonstration Chain of Command (WWII) game - date to be agreed at his convenience.
and of course Lawrence's Saga Campaign is now underway
AOB
Leanne has made the offer of a Costco membership to support the tuck box - this was held in abeyance for the time being.

not down on the 26th - apologies everyone but Ryan is coxing for his Uni and we are going to support him. Normal service should be resumed thereafter
The AGM this year may also feature a quiz so you will need to create teams of no more than 6. Rounds will include 'Bolt Action' on World War II, Star Wars, 40K and possibly a cards against Humanity Round!
Agenda items include
Treasurers Report & Salute kitty
What does the club need?
suggestions to date for terrain include vinyl roll away mats (desert, snow etc), scatter terrain, hedges etc - we have to be careful now as we have reached our space capacity so new toys in may mean old toys out or for sale!
Election to vacant offices
Club charity
Club awards
AOB - must be submitted in advance
Nominations for awards also need to come to me - anything worthy of mention really. previously this has included
Best wargaming moment of 2016 at the club
Best game played at the club (specific game, not system)
Best army painted in 2016
Best Club 'President for Life' who never shows up any more
Best item stocked in the Quartermasters tuck box
Most gentlemanly performance 2016
Best dressed 2016
Best beard 2016
Jammiest dice rolling 2016 (witnessed)
Most crushing defeat 2016
Best terrain
best newcomer
2016 achievement award
and any other game/event/person/headgear you wish to ensure gets a mention
NB If there is an Any Other Business Item you wish to add please let me know in advance (pm me before the agm)so I can protect those who wish anonymity etc and we can keep things timely on the day
