So bit of a mixed bag for hobby stuff today. Got my Panther finished, which was good. My new Kr case turned up which was good. In said case was a bunch of advertising including a reminder that Salute is on the 16th April next year, which is very bad. Turns out that is the same day as my lovely other half's birthday so I probably can't make it, which is bad.
After discussing it with Fee I have been told I can go but I have to make it up to her with something awesome. Now is my gut feeling way off or does this seem like a massive trap?

I would just say you will be back from Salute at 9pm and turn up early...
I would also leave the emergency tenner in a sock at home so it is impossible not to have cash remaining after the day - two kebabs and bobs your fathers brother -
